The secret to TRC Interactive’s long standing success is our people. The skills required of a master of today’s learning technology are an incongruous mix. Ideally the “master” must have the classroom experience of a trainer, the academic background of an Instructional Designer, the understanding of an experiential developer, the logic of a programmer, the artistic creativity of a graphic artist, and the spirit of a game designer!
These conflicting attributes don’t come in a single individual. That’s why most training development is done by teams. However, TRC has a unique cross-training approach that improves synergy and enhances results. Instructional designers recommend graphics. Graphic artists design exercises while content specialists and subject matter experts contribute exercises and so forth throughout the process.
It’s not just recommended that TRC team members make cross-capability suggestions…it’s EXPECTED.
